can you hear the drums?
I had planned to post all of this at one go at a later date but as Aberdeen has lived up perfectly to it’s ‘village’ status of gossip once more, I felt I should at least make some kind of an announcement today.
Anyone who’s read my previous posts will know that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time at Fifth ring, I work with some very clever people, learn a lot, contribute to the future of digital within the organisation and have made some good friends along the way. I’ve had orange plastic bags launched in my face every few days from the mighty @stevenmilne. Inspired by @zaravaughan, I have coined a new name for headphones (zara filters), drooled, stared jealously and got fatter on the baking done by @emslielane while fighting an endless battle of ‘wurdz’ vs ‘tech’ with her, endured the worst puns imaginable and the best Friday pub lunches possible from all round good guy @andy_wainwright and otherwise had a great time getting to know a whole host of other FR faces who avoid online banter from me by opting not to have a twitter account. This week, I handed in my notice. My reasons are my own and I don’t have anything bad to rant about…sorry!
It’s time for me to move on. I will post an update when I feel the time is right, I believe these things should be done properly and with respect to all involved and so even though there a few people out there who seem to know what I have lined up, i’ll just let the jungle drums rumble on a bit longer before I announce the hard and fast facts.
